American Carbon Registry Standard v2.1

The American Carbon Registry Standard v2.1 details ACR’s requirements and specifications for the quantification, monitoring, and reporting of project-based GHG emissions reductions and removals, verification, project registration, and issuance of offsets.

The ACR Standard v2.1 amplifies and clarifies the requirements of the American Carbon Registry Standard v2.0, which superseded the ACR Technical Standard 2009 v1.0, which has ben retired. A summary of changes in v2.1 from v2.0 is available. Project Proponents with project registration in process under American Carbon Registry Standard v2.0 may continue to use that standard provided the projects are registered by January 31, 2011.
