Carbon Offset Registration Eligibility Requirements

The American Carbon Registry accepts only offsets from projects that utilize an accepted methodology, that meet its additionality and eligibility requirements and that have been independently verified against the American Carbon Registry’s published standards. Projects that are developed using a new or modified methodology must be approved by the American Carbon Registry.
