The American Carbon Registry™ is a one-stop shop for carbon offset registration and carbon services. Registry members can:

1Some methodology modifications and all new methodologies, if deemed eligible for ACR, will require scientific peer review at additional fees.

- Companies who join the American Carbon Registry on or before May 15, 2009 and accept Founding Member status will be named Founding Members
- Founding Members transaction fees are guaranteed until April 30, 2010
- The Emissions Reduction Ton (“ERT”) is the American Carbon Registry’s unit of exchange for project-based carbon offsets
- Total fees can be billed to either buyer or seller, rather than both, upon request
- Members who desire to remove certain tons from the American Carbon Registry, but retain their account will be charged a de-listing fee for tons removed
- ERTs can only be listed on the American Carbon Registry or by the American Carbon Registry on other approved registries and exchanges
